Two Women. Two Lives. Touched by an LWR Quilt.

Ndenaghafumwa Umburi lives in Tanzania and is the mother of five grown children. She and her husband have a small farm on Mt. Kilimanjaro. Their pastor selected them to receive two LWR Mission Quilts because of the extreme challenges they face making a living from their small farm while also caring for their disabled son.

Ellie Ramsay lives near Baltimore, Maryland and has seven grandchildren. She is an active member of her church and a dedicated LWR quilter. Her family emigrated from Poland during World War II.
